Craig Huisenga Bio

Craig Huisenga, NOVA’s Managing Producer- has acted, directed and taught professionally in Seattle and San Diego and has been active at Venture Theatre and Billings Studio Theatre since returning to Billings about four years ago. At Venture, he played Ken in Man From Nebraska and Dick Daldry in In The Next Room: or The Vibrator Play and directed productions of Dying City, The History Boys and various one acts. He is directing NOVA’s production of August: Osage County which opens 11/8. At BST, Craig acted in The Trip to Bountiful and directed Is He Dead?. Craig has acted and directed at regional theatres in Seattle and San Diego and at Grandstreet Theatre in Helena. He also has served as Associate Artistic Director of the Bathhouse Theatre Company in Seattle, Drama Director of Eugene’s Churchill High School, and Managing Director of San Diego’s Common Ground Theatre. Craig’s television appearances include commercials and “Northern Exposure.” His business experience includes ten years in the marketing department at San Diego Repertory Theatre.
